Business Support Excellence (2)

This *NEW* award recognises an individual or team delivering excellence in business support functions that enable and accelerate business outcomes. Whether through operations, finance, legal, people and culture, project management, or any other enabling function, this award celebrates those who work behind the scenes to enable technology businesses to succeed. 

Additionally, this award acknowledges that exceptional digital outcomes only happen with exceptional business support - and that the people and teams who create the infrastructure, processes and culture for digital teams to thrive deserve recognition. 

Eligibility Criteria

Individual Nomination

The person eligible for this award must:

  • Identify as She/Her, She/They, or They/Them
  • Reside in Australia

  • Be working in a business support, project management, operations, administration or enabling function within a digital or technology-focused organisation or team

  • Have made a demonstrable contribution to the success of a digital product, team, or initiative

  • The achievements described must have been completed in the Australian market during the 25/26 Financial Year

Team Nomination

 The team eligible for this award must: 
  • Be based in Australia
  • Have a minimum of 50% of team members identifying as She/Her, She/They, or They/Them
  • Be working in a business support, operations, or enabling function within a digital or technology-focused organisation or team
  • Have made a demonstrable collective contribution to the success of a digital product, team, or initiative
  • The achievements described must have been completed in the Australian market during the 25/26 Financial Year
Assessment Criteria

 What we are looking for in the entry:

  • Clear and concise communication of how the individual or team enables and supports business outcomes beyond their job title

  • Demonstrated impact on the efficiency, culture, or performance of a digital team or organisation

  • Innovation in processes, systems, or ways of working that have improved business operations or team effectiveness

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

  • Real-world evidence of business impact — whether commercial, operational, or cultural

  • Demonstrated ability to foster cohesion and diversity, manage conflicting priorities, and influence the organisation's practices and culture.

  • Commitment to continuous professional development and an appetite for learning

  • Active involvement in the digital community
