This award recognises the importance of diversity in developing more innovative and inclusive companies to support the future pipeline of women in technology.

Eligibility Criteria
  • This is an organisational award (an individual cannot win this award)

     

  • Your organisation must have an Australian ABN and may be a private, public sector or not-for-profit organisation OR be a Community Social Responsibility project within a for-profit company

     

  • Your team must have practices in place to improve diversity holistically, including age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education, national origin, socio-economic background and lived experience

     

  • The organisation may be a technology-based organisation, or be utilising technology to enhance their operations

     

  • This organisation must have been trading for a minimum of two years

Assessment Criteria

 What we are looking for in the entry:

  • Clear and concise communication of how diversity in your organisation or teams is a key strategy from recruitment through to governance

  • A holistic approach to diversity and inclusion - we are interested in hearing about how you have been working to improve diversity across age, gender, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, education, national origin, socio-economic background and lived experience

  • Examples of how diversity at the senior leadership level has helped to enhance business strategy, operations or management are highly regarded
  • Clear commitment to continuous improvement across diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Additional weight will be provided to submissions where organisations have overcome significant challenges and can demonstrate wins in cultural change
  • Additional weight will be given to submissions that take into account and aim to address intersectionality in their workforce

Tip: When responding to questions, please provide as many numerical measures as possible - quantifying your success will help contextualise your submission for the industry judges.

  5. Why does diversity and inclusion matter to your organisation, and how does it align with your corporate strategy? Explain the importance of diversity and how it integrates into your business goals. (150 words)

  6. What initiatives has your organisation implemented in the last 12–24 months to improve diversity and inclusion? Include specific programs, policies, or actions and their measurable impact. (250 words)

  7. What challenges has your organisation faced in advancing diversity, and how were they addressed? Highlight key obstacles and the steps taken to overcome them. (200 words)

  8. How has your organisation measured the impact of diversity and inclusion initiatives? Provide data or examples that demonstrate change across demographics or within your organisation. (250 words)

  9. What diversity achievement or program is your organisation most proud of, and why? Describe a specific initiative and its significance. (150 words)

  10. How will your organisation sustain its commitment to diversity and inclusion in the future? Outline your ongoing plans to enhance diversity and inclusion efforts. (200 words)
