Champion of Change (1)

This award celebrates an impact-oriented individual who is driving meaningful change within the digital industry, whether through innovation, leadership, advocacy, or transforming the way organisations use technology.

Eligibility Criteria

 The person eligible for this award must:

  • Identify as She/Her, She/They, or They/Them

  • Reside in Australia

  • Work within the digital or technology sector (including corporate, government, startup, or not-for-profit).
  • The product, service, or initiative must involve digital technology and demonstrate clear, measurable change or impact within its organisation or industry.
  • The organisation nominated must have been trading for a minimum of two years. 
Assessment Criteria

 What we are looking for in the entry:

  • The use of digital technology to drive meaningful change, whether commercial, cultural, operational, or social
  • Creativity and innovation in addressing a significant challenge or opportunity
  • The effectiveness and impact of your initiative at scale
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and an appetite for learning

  • Active involvement in the digital community

Tip: When responding to questions, please provide as many numerical measures as possible - quantifying your success will help contextualise your submission for the industry judges.

  7. What challenge or opportunity are you addressing, and why is it important to you? Share the inception story of how, why, and when you began driving this change. (250 words)
  8. Outline the digital product, service, or initiative you've developed or led. How does it address the challenge and create meaningful impact? (200 words)
  9. Describe your role and responsibilities in this initiative. Who else was involved, and what were their key contributions? (200 words)
  10. What measurable results and impact has this initiative achieved? Please provide both quantitative and qualitative data. (200 words)
  11. What challenges have you faced in launching and sustaining this initiative, and how have you overcome them?  (250 words)
  12. What are your future goals for scaling the impact of this initiative? (250 words)
  13. Please provide a link or testimonial that highlights your contributions to the tech industry or gender equity.
